End of Year Math Project for Middle School - 'Running a Summer Camp'
Fully engage your students at the end of the year with this fun math project for middle school! I have successfully used this project with 6th grade, 7th grade, and 8th grade students.
This project finds your students buying an old summer camp and using their math skills to get it ready for some new campers!
Students will use basic math skills - including fractions, decimals, percentages, perimeter, area, data analysis, equations, ratios, probability - to work their way through nine activities and receive their first paycheck!
Teacher instructions and a marking guide are included. This project took about 2 class lessons (50 minute lessons) for my students to complete.
Perfect for an end of year math activity or after state testing project.
